Betsy and I were on our way to Crossville late one afternoon a couple of weeks ago when we noticed the pink clouds near the setting sun. Fortunately we found a parking lot where we could get a good view of the sun and the clouds, and where I captured this image.

I just love when the clouds are that gorgeous color! We had a lovely sunset last night but it’s hard to get a great picture through the window of our apartment and I wasn’t going to head outside again into the cold! I so enjoyed the sliver of the moon in our sky last night!

Beautiful capture of the sunset. It’s good that you had time to pull over, the sky can change so fast, sometimes even before you get to a spot where you can take the picture.

Had to enlarge this one because it is so beautiful and I wanted a bigger look! Just beautiful! We turn around and pull over all the time, Phil has a fit with the traffic for me! Did you and Betsy both have your cameras and you both were snapping this? That would have been a funny sight.

Sunsets are normally beautiful, but when the skies get pink/coral like that, they are magnificent.
