Watery Wednesday #128: Rockhouse Falls

Rockhouse Falls, Fall Creek Falls State Park, Tennessee. April 21, 2002.

This is my post for Watery Wednesday.  To see more of our beautiful watery world, or to join and post your own pictures to share, click HERE.

Fall Creek Falls State Park has five major waterfalls.  Rockhouse Falls is one of the smaller falls as far as water volume is concerned, although it has a drop of 125 feet.  This picture was taken from an overlook across Cane Creek Canyon from Rockhouse Falls.  I took this picture on the anniversary of our very first kiss, which took place at Fall Creek Falls State Park.

When I very first saw your picture of the falls I could just picture someone jumping but then I read your words and I much rather like the idea of standing and listening to the peaceful water and being with the one you love 🙂 NOW THAT IS AWESOME!

I always enjoy photos of tumbling water!

    A SEEKER OF WATER

A seeker of water, they say,
Is likely to savor the day,
    If she can find dew,
    A few raindrops too—
Or even some vast ocean spray!
