For the past several years Betsy and I have been celebrating our wedding anniversary at the Pisgah Inn on the Blue Ridge Parkway near Asheville, North Carolina. The inn has a wonderful restaurant, and the views from the rooms are absolutely beautiful. And it helps that we’re high enough in the mountains that air conditioning is not needed. I imagine we’ll keep going back for more years to come.

Years ago, after seeing your post on Serenity Falls, I took my three sons there. Today I thought about going back and I see it is closed and the phone number doesn’t work. Do you have any idea what happened? It sure is a beautiful place!

I’m sorry to hear that Serenity Falls has closed. We certainly enjoyed our stays there. The couple that owned it were fairly elderly — perhaps it just became too much for them. What a shame.

I have found out it has new owners and has been totally rehabbed! You can find it under Bear Camp Cabins 🙂
