Yesterday was a beautiful spring day here on the Plateau. After doing our weekly grocery shopping in the morning, both Betsy and I worked out in the yard during the afternoon.
It really is beginning to look and feel like Spring around the house. It was almost too warm for a long-sleeved shirt. The grass is now almost completely green (and needs mowing!), tulip buds are starting to show some color, and the roses are showing new growth.
But the stars of the yard yesterday were the daffodils. We have several different varieties in bloom. The collage above (which can be enlarged for better viewing) shows the daffodils we currently have in bloom.
Isn’t spring wonderful?

Yes, spring is a wonderful time of the year! Your collage of your daffodils is beautiful!
I don’t have a garden, so yesterday I bought som daffodils to grow in the kitchen window! I hope they will bloom when Easter comes!

Oh my what gloriously lovely blooms and just in time for Easter too. Your spring is somewhat different from my spring but nevertheless it’s spring and that is so wonderful. Daffodils, tulips all that are yet to come here but certainly worth waiting for. At least all the birds are so busy busy busy and all lovey dovey over here that it makes my head spin and everyday more bare ground is showing and a few tiny grass straws were visible today and my Hostas already are sticking out of the ground even if there’s a bit of ice around them still. I am so excited and these photos just make me more so. Besides when you don’t have the pleasure of those lovely ladies anymore I shall start posting pictures of them 🙂

George,
Those daffodils are just lovely, ours are just starting to peek through the earth, you are so lucky to be in the throws of spring.

Love your collage of the daffodils in your yard. Wish they could hang around just a little longer, so we could have egg searching around them. They won’t be here at Easter Egg Hunt time at our house. Mine have seen they better days already.

How lovely these daffodils are! I’ve only had two come up so far this year but am hoping for more soon. I’ve got LOTS of irises and a beautiful amaryllis in full bloom already.
Hugs and blessings,
