Last week I shared Holcomb Creek Falls, which we visited on our anniversary trip to northeast Georgia. After enjoying Holcomb Creek Falls we hiked another quarter-mile through the woods. This part of the hike was uphill, but it led us to Ammons Creek Falls. Ammons Creek Falls is not as tall as Holcomb Creek Falls, but it is still very pretty.

Beautiful! The rocks remind me of oyster shells and I love how the water is tumbling down willy-nilly.

Gorgeous shot! I love waterfalls, but all that uphill hiking is usually just a little too much for me. So I do appreciate your wonderful photos!

That looks so refreshing … it’s 4:30pm and still 93 degrees with probably 80% humidity down in SW Florida!!

I like what you did with the water in this photo. Sometimes the slowed down water is more appealing, but not always. Looks good at this falls.

I think I could stand under these falls right now!! I actually can see the spot I would crawl too!! Wonderful shot! I just took down all my feeders and cleaned them as well as disinfected them… and I’m in need of some major cool down right now…hot and humid here…how far away are these falls from me? lol! I’ll be right down!!
