We had a beautiful weekend here on the Plateau of Tennessee. It actually felt more like autumn than summer, but I don’t want you to think that I’m complaining. It was very nice working out in the yard and I tried to make the most of it.
Our lilies are all finished for the year. The last ones bloomed several weeks ago, but I’ve been so far behind on my pictures that I haven’t done anything with them. Yesterday I had a chance to work with my pictures and made several collages of the lilies that bloomed in our garden this year. Five of our lilies are shown in the collage above.

I confess I love that American Dream lilly. I bet your yard was a show piece in the neighborhood with all the lillies and roses.

Beautiful flowers. It’s sad at the end of the season when they start to die.

Those lilies are gorgeous! I couldn’t pick a favorite if I had to.
Your weather sounds like our weather….definitely feels like fall, and the sounds at night are the sounds of fall also. And no, I am not complaining at all.

You had a great crop of lilies this summer.

You sure take great pictures – but you also have lovely subject matter for your photos! Love the collage! Some day would love to learn how to make one. Hubby bought me a camera from his trip to PA and now I have to figure out how to use it. There’s never enough time for all the things I want to do, lol!
