No Trick — This is Definitely a Treat

RosePinkPromise09103001

Pink Promise Rose, Fairfield Glade, Tennessee. October 30, 2009.

One nice thing about living in Tennessee is that the growing season lasts longer than it does in Ohio.  Even though it is the end of October we still have roses in bloom at the house.

I took the picture of this beauty, Pink Promise, yesterday (Friday).  We have buds and blossoms on several other roses as well.  I hope we can enjoy them  before we get our first frost.

Beautiful shot George. Thats so neat you still have roses. Heck here all the flowers are pretty much gone. Well people are starting to put pansys in flower beds around here.

    Beautiful George!
I sat here yesterday and watched the leaves literally fall off the trees. Today my look out my sunroom window is much brighter. 🙂
I have a pot of petunias still blooming and that’s it.

That is so pretty! The color is just fabulous. I drove by a house today that had several blooming rosebushes in the front yard and was just amazed at this time of year to see them.

I’m glad you haven’t had frost yet. We got some ugly weather last week and are back to Indian Summer. Seems the frost was somewhat of a waste.

    That sure is beautiful!
