The gazebo above is on the grounds of the Dillard House in Dillard, Georgia. The house is in a beautiful mountain setting near Rabun Gap in north Georgia. If you every want a delicious meal of southern cooking, the Dillard House is the place to go. Just make sure you have a hearty appetite.
After a wonderful meal a walk around the grounds is made to order. This gazebo is a great spot to relax and enjoy the view.

This picture is timeless. It reminds me of the pavillions and bandstands in the 1800’s

That is a beautiful photo. I love the shadows of the trees on the lawn. After a good southern meal at the Dillard House, you almost need a nap!
Hope you and Betsy have a nice week.

This is a lovely scenic scene! The long shadows are wonderful!
I think a glass of tea and a good book under the gazebo would be very nice.

This looks like a beautiful place to be…a very appealing place to stop and relax.
George, before I forget, doesor did your parents ever talk about the depression? I have a book from the library just full of people’s memories of that time. I have just read a few, and was thinking of them and wondering what tales they have told you. It might make an interesting post….
