Letchworth State Park in New York is sometimes referred to as the “Grand Canyon of the East” The Genesee River flows through a gorge and over three waterfalls between cliffs as high as 600 feet in some places.
The waterfall pictured above is Middle Falls. It is in the middle both in terms of height and in terms of distance down the river.

Letchworth is such a pretty park. We haven’t been there for a while. I’d like to go back. We’ve mentioned riding up there a few times this year. So far it has been all talk, no action!

That looks like grass at the bottom. It looks like a smaller one you could maybe walk right up to.

I wish we could have a watery Wednesday. 🙂 We got about 10 drops of rain today…maybe 12. 🙂

What an impressive fall! I saw one almost identical one in Australia.Great!
I’ve just heard that 24 miners have been rescued now and that tomorrow morning ( midnight in the USA) they all will be up.
