White Christmases are rare here in Tennessee, but this is what our deck and back yard looked like on Christmas Day. We actually got much more snow Christmas Night and Sunday morning, but we were glad to see white on the ground Christmas Day.
We were cozy and warm in the house, with a fire in the fireplace to take out the chill. Of course, those goodies under the tree helped us feel good as well.

The snow certainly made Christmas memorable this year. That fire looks very inviting.

You have such a wonderful spot for your Christmas tree, and that fire does look inviting. I’m happy that you were able to have a white Christmas. It does make Christmas a little more magical having snow on the ground.

We got blasted with the snow and cold as well. Our daughter was stuck in Chicago Christmas Day and finally went back home since nothing would be flying. She will arrive this afternoon. Our son and his wife left at mid-day yesterday. It took them almost six hours to get from Asheville to Knoxville on I 40. They decided to spend the night there to rest and recover before heading home this morning.
Glad you had a cozy Christmas by the fire.

The snow made Christmas so pretty without too much danger. Glad you both were snug and warm and had a great Christmas together. Happy New Year!

I love the thought of unwrapped presents under the tree. Maybe it signifies hope…
Your home looks so cozy and welcoming!
