O Say Can You See. . .

The flag at Barefoot Landing, North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. December 21, 2010.

While Betsy and I were at Barefoot Landing in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, we saw this large flag flying at the dock.  It looked so pretty in that night sky, that I couldn’t resist trying to capture it.  I wasn’t sure how the picture would come out  since it was so dark, but I rather like the result.

    Yes, George! The flag is well captured by you! It’s difficult to take a photo of a moving object. Have a great weekend!

    Oh I LOVE this one! It always amazes me how photos of our flag can just take my breath away. Takes me to such a place of deep thanks for so many who have fought, died, and continue to fight even today for our freedom.

    That came out really well. and you have it centered in the fountain with the two flags on each side of it. you got the black night sky perfectly, mine tend to be grainy.

    The composition of this photo is great George! I pledge my friendship to the flag of the United States of America! Very nice with the flag flanked by the fountains!

    Beautiful, George! And is that a plane or a star to the NE of the flag?
