One advantage to posting on Skywatch Friday, is that we become more aware of the sky and the beauty that is in it on just about every day. I recently came across an archived file of sky photos from 2009. I used that file to create the collage above.

I agree. Only when I joined sky watch when I started to take photos of the sky. I already appreciate it then but now it’s like part of the daily chore to capture beautiful sky. Great collage thanks for sharing and happy weekend!

What a terrific collage, George! And such a gorgeous variety of skies! I, too, have been amazed at how much more aware of the beauty in the world that I have become since I became addicted to my camera. And it is everywhere — in the skies, in shadows, in reflections, in all of our personal worlds! That discovery came at a time when I truly needed a new way to look at the world and I have that now. Oh George! These are just gorgeous! I think you could make postcards out of any or all of them! That fiery red sky is just amazing! I love the moon too….

The cloudy moon is my favourite, whenever there’s a full moon my dog seems to sense it and acts weird. Should I be worried?
