When Betsy and I arrived at Ocean Isle Beach in December, we were treated to a wonderful sunset which we enjoyed from the balcony of our room. As the glow started to fade from the sky, I noticed a solitary figure walking along the beach. I snapped this picture and couldn’t help thinking that I was watching a person alone with his thoughts in a beautiful, majestic world.

Glorious way to end the day! Terrific capture as always, George. I always wonder what people are thinking as they walk alone on a beach, staring out over the water — is it more than just enjoying the beauty??? Hope your week is off to a great start!

I trust that the beauty around him influenced his thoughts, but it could also be that he was clearing his head and body from all the stress of the day! I wold love to be there! So gorgeous!
