This is my post for Watery Wednesday. To see more of our beautiful watery world, or to join and post your own pictures to share, click HERE.
A couple of weeks ago I published a picture taken from the south rim of Tallulah Gorge (you can see it HERE) showing the suspension bridge that lets you cross the gorge. I mentioned that getting to the bridge involved going down (and then back up) 600 steps.
If you navigate those steps and get to the bottom of the gorge, this is the view of the Tallulah River that you can enjoy.

This is George awesome. I like red granite rocks in the river. Well, 600 steps is much and require good condition for everyone.
Have a wonderful day.

That is a trip I have never made! My brother and his son once made that hike down and Larry laughed that he thought he was going to have to live down there rather than climb back out!

600 steps–whew–that’s a lot to go up and down. Worth the trip it looks like. MB

That is a lot of steps, but looks as though it would be well worth the effort! Terrific capture as always, George! Hope your week is going well! Enjoy!

That is one deep gorge…not sure how I would feel going over that suspension bridge in the previous post. I love the scene shown here today.

you and Betsy must have really strong legs. 600 steps. WOW!!!
Once I went with my colleagues, for a 3 hour track, we made a mistake, and walked up many steps and down again (It almost killed me)

The is very lovely, and almost mystical looking. There ought to be an award for people who can get to it!

Beautiful. I could picture you and Betsy having a nice picnic on that flat spot on the left!
