SkyWatch Friday: Spring-Time Evening Sky

Everything in Spring seems bright and beautiful.  Last Saturday evening we were walking on the golf course behind our house at sunset.  The sun was dropping below the Plateau, and the eastern sky was turning dark.  But the sun was still hitting some of the clouds in the western sky.  All in all it was a beautiful evening.

Betsy and I will be taking a blog break for about a week.  I’ll be back about April 4, the yard willing.

    That is beautiful. It’s funny how we miss the simple beautiful things a lot of times when they a right in front of our face. Enjoy you time off.

    Is that sunbeams I see there? Beautiful! So you are going “underground” along with Betsy! I just asked her if anything is wrong, so I hope it is just your spring yard work.

    Yes, like Carletta, I would love to have some of that sky! We saw sunshine once this week. The rest of the week has been dreary, bleary and certainly not cheery. Can you tell I’m anxious to have spring arrive???? Thanks for sharing your very fine photo!
