Neither words or pictures can adequately describe the Painted Desert. It truly looks as if an artist has spread beautiful colors over everything in sight. We were there on a beautiful clear day, and the brilliant blue sky was just an added bonus. This picture was taken at the Tawa Point overlook in Petrified Forest National Park.

This is absolutely fascinating! In Australia I saw rock paintings and in Norway something more like petroglyphs. Sorry I couln’t find the proper comment page. Your desert photos are also very beautiful.

Oh there definitely was an artist who drew this….You and I know HIM well…. The Lord did such a beautiful and breathtaking job for You and for Me and for all others to see!
