Yesterday was not a good day for Betsy. Her Titans lost their football game by one point! And to make matters worse, it is the middle of December, there’s precipitation coming, and the temperatures are in the 50’s. Betsy wants snow! How can it snow with temperatures like this? It’s depressing!!!
I really want to cheer Betsy up, but I’m not sure how to go about doing so. I certainly can’t change the outcome of the football game, and I don’t have the talent necessary to make it snow on demand.
About the best I can do is post this picture to give Betsy hope. This picture was taken on the deck of our house in February, 2006, and it shows that we actually can get a nice snowfall here in the Glade. So don’t give up hope, Betsy!
One more thing. Although I don’t know how to make it snow outside, I do know how to make it snow on this blog. So if the weatherman won’t cooperate, Betsy can watch it snow here!

I like your snow on your blog. Snow would be nice but I got my power bill and it is $325….ouch. I don’t want it to be cold, costs tooooo much.

It’s nice to see the snow on your blog because I don’t want to see it for real. 🙂
Here in Maryland today it is 60 degrees. Now that I like!!

Peggy, are you sure you want some snow? If we get too much I’ll do my best to send you some.
Connie, I understand how you feel. We supplement our heat with a fireplace. The wood costs money, but it sure does add to the atmosphere.
Happyone, it’s warm here as well, which is one reason Betsy is so unhappy! We wouldn’t want anything like they had in New England, though!

George, just let her gripe…that’s what women like to do. 🙂 I’m sure glad I’m not sitting close. 🙂

George: I wonder how you had snow when we are in the mid 50’s.

Neal, I told Betsy about your comment — and quickly left the room!
FG, the picture was taken in February, 2006. We were in the upper 50’s here today.

That is the best kind of snow! I know just how Betsy feels. The Packers once again managed to pull defeat out of the jaws of victory. Yet another game lost in the last 10 minutes!

Nice shot. The closest I get to snow in my yard is to bring some home if I visit the mountains. 🙂

That’s an awesome photo! I keep thinking I want snow too; if nothing else for Christmas Day. But that has only happened once or twice here that I can remember. O well. Here’s praying for a little snow all around!
Cheers!
BTW, I LOVE the snow on your blog! 🙂
