This week I have been kept busy in the yard and didn’t have an opportunity to capture any watery photos. So I’ve gone to the archive and gotten this picture from Ocean Isle Beach in North Carolina. This is where Betsy and I have gone for our beach vacation for the past three years. We’re attracted by the beauty of the ocean and beach and the fact that in May we can practically have the beach to ourselves.

I was worried that I would regret going to the mountains instead of the beach for vacation. Now I can truly say, this was one of our best trips ever.

I’d be delighted that there were no people there.It looks so peaceful there.And with no people there you can really appreciate the sound of the waves.

I have a friend who goes there all the time and I kept meaning to go when we lived in Virginia and not so far away as now but we never did.

Now that’s MY kind of watery view … but I seldom see our beach so free of people. I shared local fountains at Small Reflections this week but definitely need to take my camera with me when Molly and I next visit Dog Beach … just because.
