This is my post for Skywatch Friday, a meme for sharing views of the sky from all over the world. To see more, or to join and share your own photos of the sky, click HERE.
The scene above may not appear to be much to many of you, but we think it’s absolutely gorgeous. Yesterday (Thursday) was the first day in a week in which we were able to see blue sky. And it was the first time in a week in which the clouds were white instead of gray or black. In short, the sky was beautiful. I hope we soon have many more days like this.

My Dad got a good report from the doctor and we found Mom and Dad to both be in good spirits. We were able to run some errands and help with some chores around the house, so it was a good and productive visit.

Today I’m grateful for each opportunity I have to spend a day with my parents.

So glad to hear your mom/dad are doing well George.
I am so hopeful of seeing some blue sky today myself. It’s been gray and cold for the last several days.

Isn’t it wonderful how that blue sky can lift spirits? I can still hear myself a month ago constantly complaining about the gray skies, but now…I’m smiling and happy and enjoying that blue and those clouds! Glad your parents are doing well!
