Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, is a popular beach destination for people living in our part of Tennessee. It has beautiful beaches and lots of attractions for tourists, so it also has many people on the beach just about any time of the year.
Betsy and I go to Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina, which is a few miles north of Myrtle Beach. There aren’t as many people on the beach, but the beach is still beautiful and is backed by dunes that are very scenic in their own right.

Lovely!
My husband and I would make the same decision. We both hate crowded beaches.

This is a pretty scene.I would also choose to go to a less ‘peopled’ place. OK,I know that may not be a correct word, but it fits. 🙂

This shot is lovely. The wispy green sand grass is such a pretty contrast against the painted sky and powerful waves. I too would prefer this beach over the crowds although sometimes it’s fun to people watch, too!

An unusual picture for you, George. Kind of the very opposite of waterfalls!! Interesting to see how the tufts of grass or whatever that is grow just in spots, so it’s kind of like a pattern.
