Skywatch Friday: Cresent Moon

Last Sunday (April 18) evening I was outside putting things away as it was getting dark and I noticed this crescent moon up in the sky. Naturally I had to grab my camera and get a picture to share with you.

Perfect!
I tried taking a picture of it the night after the new moon phase and Venus was so bright beside it, but all I got were two blobs of light. 😉

Great shot at just the right time, because I love the sky as well! It’s not quite dark, so it’s that pretty deep indigo.
