Watery Wednesday #88: Ocean Isle Pier

Beneath the Ocean Isle Pier, May 3, 2010.

When we were at Ocean Isle Beach the Islander Inn was within sight of the pier.  I enjoyed walking along the beach and watching the surf come in under the pier.  The pier itself makes an interesting pattern, and if you look closely you can see the spray caused by incoming waves hitting the pilings.

    Like Susie, I’d want to be wading, walking and splashing around in there, but it would probably be too cold yet this time of year. Interesting shot though!
