This week has brought clouds and some much-needed rain to the Glade. But last Saturday evening the clouds parted enough to reveal a quarter moon. I, of course, could not resist the temptation to grab my camera and try to capture the moon.

Send us some rain…I don’t think we’ve had any for a month. I always love pictures of the moon but never try to take them.

Congrats on your rain!!!

What a great pic Geprge. As I was running the other morning I couldn’t help but notice how pretty the sky looked. It was right before the sun was up. The stars were beautiful.

you just taught me a valuable lesson. when I think sky I think blue sky and white clouds, or thunder clouds. this is most defintely a wonderful view of the sky.

Beautiful, and I love the dark leaves in the lower right corner! It’s just the little think the picture needs to set it off.

Nice shot. Moon shots are so difficult. Low light, camera shake etc. The full moon is not long to go now, I’ll be out there trying (again).

We’ve been under a blanket of smoke from the BC forest fires that we missed the moon – and the sun for that matter. It finally rained the other night and today the sun is trying to get through. I love your moon slice!!

On Friday and Saturday nights, in between downpours, we watched a beautiful moon shining down over the Gulf.
