Sometimes rainy days give the most interesting sky pictures. I went to my archives to get this picture of Lake Ontario in New York. It was taken in October, 2008, at 30 Mile Point Lighthouse. The skies were threatening most of the day, but we didn’t get any rain.

You might find this interesting, George. I’ve been sharing photographs that I took while at Genesee Country Village and Museum in my blog. Well, that was only one place that we visited that weekend in June. We also stopped in Olcott Beach, NY, and at the 30-mile lighthouse! I’ll be sharing photographs from both places after I complete my posts about Genesee Country Village. We plan to return to the Lake Ontario area one day. I like the color in your pictures, so autumn might be the perfect time to return.

Robert Redford was in that picture but Brad Pitt was too. As one of the sons and he was real young and real cute—one of his first movies. We all have gotten older only I got older than he did. LOL

The Great Lakes amaze me! Big enough to be oceans, but yet, aren’t!

Rainy looking days really do make for the best shots! I love it when the sky gets all threatening & ominous looking… very cool, George!
