At this time of Thanksgiving, Betsy and I have so very much for which to be thankful. I’ve pictured just a few of them in the collage above.
********************
Let us give thanks to God our Father for all his gifts so freely bestowed upon us.
For the beauty and wonder of your creation, in earth and sky and sea,
We thank you, Lord.
For all that is gracious in the lives of men and women, revealing the image of Christ,
We thank you, Lord.
For our daily food and drink, our homes and families, and our friends,
We thank you, Lord.
For minds to think, and hearts to love, and hands to serve,
We thank you, Lord.
For health and strength to work, and leisure to rest and play,
We thank you, Lord.
********************
Betsy and I hope all of you have a happy, blessed and safe Thanksgiving.

`Regarding your comment about our weather all I can say is that the media seems to blow things out of proportion. It wasn’t really bad. I think in Seattle the snow hit at traffic time and tied up the interstate and of course side roads are usually the worsr. It is mostly gone in Seattle now. Up where i live we still have several inches but the weather has warmed up quite a bit so I am guessing it will be mostly gone by morning. I am going to visit my Mother on the Island tomorrow and I think the roads will be fine. Thanks for the concern though. MB
