Don’t Believe Her

Snow in the Glade, December 12, 2010.

If you listen to Betsy, I’m sure you think that it never snows at our house.  But although we never get enough snow to please her, I offer these pictures as proof that we do get snow.

The picture above was taken Sunday evening.  We had light snow most of the day on Sunday.  The worse thing was the very low temperatures that came with the snow.

For some reason Betsy likes this picture.  She says it just shows what a dedicated photographer I am.  I think it’s just because she likes to see me on my knees.

Betsy in the snow in front of our house, Fairfield Glade, Tennessee. December 12, 2010.

So the next time you hear Betsy complain about the lack of snow here in the Glade, just reminder her that you’ve seen her bundled up in the snow in front of our house.

The snow is very pretty and now we can all refer Betsy to these photos when she complains of a lack of snow!!!

Unfortunately, the roads in our county are covered in ice today. Many folks were stranded on the commute home from work last night.

The snow is always beautiful, but it can bring a lot of problems and discomfort! Great captures as always, George! And, of course, the one of you on your knees is perfect!! Enjoy your day! Stay warm!

I think she tells white lies. Pardon the pun. I think you are both nuts going out in the cold to take photos but that is why I love your blogs. The top shot is magic.

Those are lovely photos, and that’s just the way I prefer to view the snow – in photos! I think you were very brave, kneeling down in it. Glad that Betsy got her snow and sorry it wasn’t enough for her, but that would be way more than enough to satisfy me!

  24. Karin Says:

Everything is prepared for our family get-together tonight and I’m taking a little breather reading some fav blogs! Glad for Betsy that she got the snow she’s been wanting! Great shots George! Love to see any man on his knees, LOL!! Wishing you two a blessed Christmas and a Happy New Year!
