When Betsy and I went to Niagara Falls back in 2002, we stayed on the Canadian side of the river. But we did spend one day on the American side. On that day we were able to get a closer view of the waterfalls on the American side. We went to the base of the American and Bridal Veil Falls and got another perspective of the Canadian Falls from Goat Island.

Amazing photos George. I visited Niagara Falls with my parents when I was 12.

Whenever I go to Toronto, I just buy a rt ticket LA-Buffalo (it’s cheaper), rent a car for the duration of my stay and drive to my destination. I never fail to spend a day or so at Niagara Falls on my way back. Ok there are casinos there but it is the falls that attract me LOL.

We have never been there and that is a place that I eventually want to go. I love to go to Bing maps and get a bird’s eye view of the falls. Your pictures are impressive so I can just imagine how impressive it is in person.

I’m hoping to go to Niagara Falls before the end of Winter. It’s been a long time since I’ve been there. I’m looking for a day when the sky is blue and the sun is shining, so it doesn’t feel so cold!

George, this place is definitely on our “to visit” list because it’s one of our natrual beauties and not to be missed, just like the Grand Canyon another place on the list for us. Thanks for the collage!

Just had to enlarge this one! I think my favorite part is the foam water drops, it looks almost like fog!
