There is nothing quite as beautiful as blue skies in February. We haven’t had many beautiful blue sky days this winter, but last weekend was an exception. I went out in the morning and couldn’t believe how blue the sky was behind our house. Of course I had to rush back in and grab my camera.
The trees are still bare, and they haven’t shown any signs of buds yet, but these blue skies give me hope.

You know, when I think of February, I never think of skies like these, but this is exactly the kind of skies we’ve had this month! Beautiful and envigorating, aren’t they?

Our blue skies are much more pastel and not so intense – but I’m not complaining the sun is shining even though it is only -11F/-24C. Brrrrr!

Blue skies are always hope-filled skies–even in winter!
CHICKEN LITTLE
Chicken Little thinks the sky
Will be falling bye and bye,
Crashing to the ground like sand
Scattered over sea and land.
What do silly chickens know?
Who told Chicken Little so?
She should get the story straight:
Sky’s not falling, it’ll wait!

I bet that sunshine felt good on your body too! Very nice…just like the blue skies we so often see in California. Thanks for stopping by.

Blue skies are the best and so welcome! We’ve been gloomy here this past week, but the temps were not bad. Spring is coming slowly, but it is coming.

Oh, I am so ready to see some blue skies…for more than a day at a time. There really isn’t anything that gives a sense of well being like a brilliant blue sky such as this.
