Garvan Gardens is a beautiful woodlands garden near Hot Springs, Arkansas. The main attractions are the beautiful flowers and shrubs, but Garvan Gardens also has some wonderful water features, including Garvan Gardens Falls in the picture above.
Unfortunately that part of Arkansas is going through a drought this year, so the streams and pools have less water than they did the first time we visited. But they still make a beautiful picture among all the shrubbery.

I like the close-up picture of the waterfall; however, my favorite picture is the second one that shows the waterfall and its surroundings.

Hi, Linda,
I’m glad you like both pictures, but the fall in the second picture is a different waterfall from the one in the first.

I always love pictures of water and these are delightful! Sorry they’re experiencing a drought — would love to be able to send them some of our rain!! Ah, but we do have blue skies for a few hours today at least! Think I’ll go sing in the sunshine!! Have a great day, George!

I’ve never seen anything quite like this, and it is all natural, I guess. It looks a bit like a pretty little man made garden.

Both photos are very nice, but I especially like the second. It could be a postcard.

Great photos George of your recent trip to Arkansas. The scenery is stunning and those flowers in bloom are unbelievable. One reason I love watching the US Masters at Augusta, Ga, is not only to watch the golf but to admire the magnificent gardens surrounding the fairways. No wonder the place is called “the golfers paradise”!
The rustic cabin at Mt.Nebo looks wonderful and the views over the valleys are stunning. Pity it rained, but it would have been a peaceful retreat for you and Betsy, especially with the log fire.
Cheers
