Betsy and I just got back from a wonderful week at Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina. The view from our room was gorgeous, as you can see from the picture above. The weather was nearly perfect, and the seafood was delicious. Is it any wonder that we escape there whenever possible?

You have the best of both worlds. Live in the mountains and visit the beach. I can see a nice boardwalk to the beach too.

Beautiful George, nothing like lazing on a warm beach front location and listening to the waves. Great to know that the weather was at its best, a beach holiday with rain is sure NOT FUN!!!!
Hope that the two of you didn’t put on too many kilos with all that glorious sea food????

Lovely photo from the very beautiful place. I love that thing “gazebo?” It is a place where one can admire sunset and sunrise.
