Last week Betsy and I went to Cumberland Mountain State Park near Crossville and walked along the shore of Byrd Lake.
The fall color was just starting to show, but the quiet waters of the lake gave us some beautiful reflections.

Good Morning Mr. George, Love the reflections of the fall colors in these photos. Also the rides look interesting at the Peach festival, still no peaches huh? I think I hate wordpress! I can’t comment on some blogs, it says I need to sign into wordpress, don’t know how to do that. My followers list does not update regularly, I can’t figure out how to put things in my sidebar and the posting time is wrong…sigh

That reflection is just fabulous! I have a spot near my house that I am waiting for the colors to turn. I hope the photograph turns out half as good as the one in my mind:)

you may remember during your stay in China, the saying JEN JEN JIA JIA,
truth or fake.
Your photo doesn’t tell which are real trees and which are reflections. Fantastic shot.

When I seen the title Byrd Lake I had to take a look because I thought it was a lake that was named after West Virginia’s Senator Byrd who passed away last year. I was wrong! Beautiful lake! Love the fall colors reflecting in the water!
