When I visited Bali back in 1987, I was very impressed with the terraces that had been constructed to make every possible square inch of land. These are rice paddies in the mountains of Bali.

A good resurrection of a slide. They bring back memories too. Those terraces are fascinating. I remember learning about them in school and thought I would love to see them on day. It is not from here and many Aussies go their for holidays but Bill and I are not impressed in what we have seen and heard about the tourist activities. It has become a very much a young person’s destination. However, the mountain areas are different.
