One way to make winter days more bearable is to look through pictures taken on sunny summer days. These are some of the iris that bloomed in our yard during the late spring of 2008. We have more roses than iris, but we do enjoy the iris which bloom earlier than the roses.

George, when you feel like it’s getting more dull because of winter, just come over our blogs from the tropics because we have all these colors all year round. And many flowers have vase life longer than a day. I promise i will post more colors the next few days, from the orchid show, which includes not only orchids, LOL.

What a beautiful and colorful collage! It seems that you have irises that bloom at ALL times, except the winter. I had not known that till I started following you.

That’s wonderful huge postcard from Irises. We never had them in our small garden. Sigh.
