In the last few days we’ve had beautiful weather and Spring bulbs have burst into bloom. We have several varieties of daffodils in our flower beds, and these have all brightened our days this week.
Unfortunately, we’re predicted to have two nights of below-freezing temperatures Friday and Saturday. We can only hope we have some of these blossoms around on Sunday morning.

I am keeping my fingers crossed that these beautiful flowers will survive another cold spell!! I had hoped you were past the bad weather you’ve had this year! And it is amazing that we’ve had one of the warmest winters??? Well, regardless of the weather, I hope you have a wonderful weekend, George!!

Ahhh—love all of the different colors/types/sizes of Daffodils we have in our yard… SO pretty… I too hope and pray that the cold weekend won’t ‘harm’ anything…
Love,

Wow, you are blooming! I have seen a few around town this week. Let’s hope everything survived the winter. Even if some have not, you have so many beautiful flowers to make up for it.

These are lovely and true spring flowers. I do hope the temperatures will not get as cold as predicted for your area.

Until bloggers like you, I had no idea there were so many varieties! Good luck with your expected cold weather!

Crossing my fingers for you and me both. It has been lovely here. I have daffodils in bud so I’m hoping they will hold off a couple more days. We have a chance of snow flurries tomorrow night. I’m just hoping our ground will stay warm enough so no harm comes to them. I know this is just the start of your sharing your lovely yard. Looking forward to the next round of blooms!

Hooray for spring! We had those freezing temperatures yesterday. I went to a Civil War seminar followed by a walking tour and cut out of the tour before the end because I was freezing! I’ve done the tour before so I didn’t miss much.

I love dafodills. It reminds me of the song “All kinds of Everything” …here the Youtube link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vpKypJkzrkI. I recall we learn that song when we were in primary school

Beautiful. I started to wait for real spring and summer. Our Lake Saimaa is still ice covered.
