The picture above was taken from our cruise ship on a September evening as we were leaving Philipsburg, St. Maarten in the Caribbean. You can see a little of the coast of the island at the extreme right, but mostly you see water and the vastness of the ocean — a perfect scene for Watery Wednesday.

It is a lovely scene. I’m also struck by the date you mention. This scene is in such contrast to what was happening in the U.S. on that date.

A lovely sunset – and the small curls on the ocean speaks of a little breeze! I am guessing a warm breeze!

Beautiful sunset, not sure how you had your might on the sunset on that day. Think it would have been very disturbing to be on a cruise during that time.
