We don’t often get a heavy snow here in the Glade, but when we do, it can be very beautiful. The picture above was taken on the front nine of the Druid Hills Golf Course. It was a gray, cloudy day, but the view was peacefully serene.

It is serene! Just a bit of reflection in the water, to make things interesting! I embiggened it, and see that it is still snowing! Welcome to my world!

I’m going golfing next week but much farther south LOL. I have golfed when the water hazards are frozen and had the golf ball slide from one side to the other

Is this the golf course you live right beside? Can you get good shots of wildlife at that pond? A lovely picture, and a good example of something that’s not what it seems! I would have never thought this was a golf course! I’m imagining that you are too active to like golf?

I sure hope no one is out there golfing! Our local golf courses become sled runs when it snows 🙂

It is definitely peaceful and serene, George. That might even be an understatement.
You are lucky to have that kind of beauty right in your own back yard.
I am envious… 🙂

Wow … what a beautiful wintry watery view … I’m glad I’m seeing it ‘virtually’ from the beach in Southern California because it looks WAY too cold for me … seriously! Thanks for sharing 😉
