When we go to the beach we hope for lots of sunshine and good weather. But even when the weather doesn’t always cooperate the beach can be beautiful. I got this picture of a storm coming ashore at Ocean Isle Beach in North Carolina.

Really amazing shot! The colors are just beautiful. I always hope for sunny days at the beach, but the stormy days are so dramatic!

One of our favorite things at the beach is to see a storm coming ashore. There is something so exciting but yet calming at the same time about it. Neat pic George!

Great photo of the approaching storm. That’s what we had for a few hours last night – dark cloud totally surrounding us with thunder and lightening churning for almost 2 hours – of course with a huge downpour! It’s humid today, but it did cool down over night. I’m almost sure that the thunder claps are louder on the 9th floor as we are closer to them, lol!!! Have a great week-end!

I love storms at the beach! Is that sky formidable or what!!! I have a picture of a squall coming towards us when we were on our last cruise. Let me see if I can find it.

Oh I love this view. I’d rather be at the beach on a day like this than a sunny, hot day! I’ll take dramatic skies any day! Wonderful shot!
