If you know anything at all about Betsy, you know how much she loves snow. It snowed here in the Glade yesterday, and Betsy was in a very happy mood. She didn’t go out and build a snowman (we didn’t get that much snow), but she did get out to enjoy it.
We had a wet snow that clung to just about everything. It was what Betsy calls a perfect snow.
It came down pretty heavy for a while and coated the bare branches of the trees in our yard in a layer of white.
We still have a few more days before Christmas, and we may not have a white Christmas, but the berries on the holly in front of our house looked very festive under all the snow.
I will admit that it was a pretty snow, and I’m glad Betsy’s happy. Now that she’s had her snow, I’m ready for Spring.

I love snow, too — in limited amounts and for a short period of time, but it is beautiful and your photos have captured the beauty perfectly, George! Hope your week is going well! Stay warm!

I would have been delighted, too….we got the one little skim a week or two ago that did not amount to anything.

So am I, George! The wreath is so pretty with the snow on it, and i love the red berry bush covered with snow. We were promised about four inches last night and got NONE!! It stayed too warm and was all rain, causing flooding and power outages.

Snow always looks so pretty, but still, i’m glad we just got rain!!

Hi George – I’m like you. I can’t share Betsy’s enthusiasm for snow. Nice to look at in pictures – ha ha. I would be like you counting the days to Spring!!!!
What is your count – I think about 85 days of white stuff and then BLISS!!! Oh dear someone is bashing on my door, I think it is dear Betsy with a pickaxe ready to give me a good belt up – ha ha!
Cheers
Colin
PS: It has stopped raining here – the dazzle from the sun is overwhelming – would you like some ha ha!

The snow passed us by this time. But we do have much colder weather and lots of black ice this morning.

Lovely winter shots George!
So happy for Betsy. I think she likes snow as much as I do. We had snow in the forecast but it fizzled before it got this far. My brother got a nice dusting a couple of hours away.

I love snow as well but I will be honest the memories of last years snowpocalypse are still fresh in my mind! I have told my husband that He cannot travel around those dates this year LOL (It has happened 2 years in a row that we got record breaking snowfall and out of school for a week) but guess what??? They scheduled their meetings in Florida yet again….UGH.
Your wreaths and Holly bushes are just beautiful and sooo festive 🙂
Have a blessed weekend!

I’m glad Betsy got her snow. I’ll be honest…I think snow pictures are beautiful BUT I don’t like to deal with the slick roads or the mess afterwards.

That is more snow than we have received this season. We’ll get ours one day soon, I am sure!

I call that perfect snow too…it’s just the right amount for adding something special to photos. Your shots looks so very festive! It would be fun to get another round of snowflakes on Christmas!
