When going through some computer files the other day, I came across this photo of a nearly full moon in a blue sky. It was taken in May, 2009, at Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina. Since I misfiled it, I thought it deserved to be shared on Skywatch Friday.

Oh no George, that is not yet the full moon, the lower left side is still not full. With that look it will still take 2 more days to the full moon. haha! This month it will be on the 8 Feb.

I love seeing the moon when it is up in the bright blue sky, and you have captured it well. For me, as soon as i press the shutter, the sky kind of washes out. I tried again yesterday, the sky looked just like your picture.
