Some of the nicest waterfalls Betsy and I visit are relatively small, but involve a pleasant hike through a forest, often along a pretty creek. Last June we visited Panther Falls in Rabun County, Georgia. The hike was about two miles on a pretty June day. And what made the day even nicer was that we had the waterfall to ourselves when we got there. There’s nothing nicer than hearing water splash over the rocks while sitting next to a pretty girl.
